how much do you pay for race fuel?

how much is and what kind of race fuel do you run? i still just run premium gasoline from the corner store mixed 50/50 with VP c12 race fuel. for a 5 gallon can of c12 in tulsa, ok is 60$!!!! 12$ a gallon..

i've been buying this stuff for a few years now and its always been in that range. the cheapest i remember it being was like 52, i think.. over the year that's a ton of money just in fuel that i've spent now that i think about it.. lol

Has anyone ever done an A - B comparison between vp or torco vs. turbo blue or cam2.

Just wondering if its worth the extra money. Also i have been told you need to empty ur tank and carb when using vp and flush it with normal fuel if it sits for more than a week.

It's been months since I bought race gas(been using my grandpas 100ll) but the last time I bought it from red rock fuels in Oklahoma City vp110 was like $6.50 I think, my sponsor contengency price was $4.50.

I pay just over 8.00 per gallon for Trick 101. They also sell Trick 114 leaded for the same price. Thinking about mixing the 114 with 92. Do you think that would be alright?

7 a gal for 110 Sonoco. I mix it half and half with shell V power, so it avg for around 5 bucks a gallon.:D

I dont recomend the c12. everyone runs it like a wonderfuel, but imo its just a glorified 110. If 110 isnt good enough then check out vp 113. i pay around $70 for 5 gallons, and it adds a few very noticable hp. If you want the best of the best then then run vp MRX01 but then you're looking at $125-150 for 5 gallons. that makes a huge difference. With these oxygenated fuels you should purge your lines, the 113 we found left a green flim on our intake and engine parts, but we found no effect by it. 113 is my wonderfuel.

i have a 13.5:1 j e piston and run cam 2. we started with c-12
but i can get cam 2 for almost half the price.. smells cool too

race fuel why not just get premium gas? i only use primium my friend put racing fuel in his banshee he blow his seals on the block

Most built motors require race gas.
