I noticed the beveled washer was cracked in several spots on the nut side of sprocket. I ordered a whole new assembley as to have spare parts anyway. Has this happened to anyone? And can you get just a washer? Thanks to Marc at HOTQUADS he got the new sprocket to me next day so we did not miss any ride time.

The same thing happened to me along with broken clutch disc. I was torqueing to 110ft lbs I backed it off to 100ft lbs and have had no problems since. also the apex washer is thicker than the DRR and I think you can buy them by themselves.

Hope this helps

Thanks about the apex will look in to it. I did the same on the torque but I went from 105 to 95. Most torque wrenches have a +/-5% range.

If your torque wrench is off that much then you need to get it recalibrated or buy a new better quality one!

Give it to your snap-on or matco dealer and tell him to send it in for recalibration!!

The correct torque for the DRR slipper sprocket is 105 ft lbs. I've never cracked a washer with this.
