is this to much for a shockmount??

i asked ATVRACING1 if they sold any shockmounts so i can put 400ex a-arms and shocks on my 300. they said they sell them but they cost 189 dollars. do you guys think thats a bit expensive for something that just rasises the lowers the shocks???
any thoughts?

I would think so. I don't think it would be that hard to make your own..

It depends how they make it. If its some crazy billet aluminum shock mount then may be. but if is some mild steel that peice that you have to weld in your self then no.

i figure it would be some kind of a billet aluminum because they sell a bunch of stuff unless its a kit with 400ex a-arms and shocks that would be nice

ah i dunno it would be permanent and would be super tough...it comes with mounting jigs and everything so everything will line up perfect...if it was 100 bucks i would but it tho but 180 yeah i see what yea mean...so i just made my own

toby makes awsome mounts and are nice lookin also and less then those by far... 80 bux plus shipping and u could have an awsome front end the angles are right and everything,
he also makes custom skid plates u should ask him about

They are all about the same, the first time you try to make them they are usually the biggest pain in the arse in the world to make. I sell mine for $60 plus shipping. I just got the one for kc300ex done. They are strong as a mother and sure are alot cheaper than $189 for sure.:D
