For the 03 plastics look for a 250R hood you will have to mod your plastics to work but they look sweet after if done right.

for the 05 to 07 plastics its the 450R hood and the 08 and up nothing yet other than maier makes a maier OEM style hood woohoo $50 for on that looks just like the one I have LMAO

Okay thanks. Any more info on modding the 250 hood? What is involved. Just trying to get a heads up before going through with it

That is the one I know of everyone using as well for the 99 to 04 body style.

It involves removing your lights and plastic were the hood sets

Let me do a search see if I can find anything.

On some you remove the plastic between the front fenders and some just cut some of it out and not all of it.

Might be easier to install the hood and take the front plastics off and then cut the plastics so you know where to keep.

I have no idea figured someone would chime in by now on someone who has installed one.

If I was to I would start by doing something along that line first to see how or what I need to do.

for the older generation plastics, all you need to do is use a jigsaw or something else that you might have, and chop off the top housing for the lights... where the key and neutral light are located. some people leave the rest of the plastic intact, but most cut away where the actual scoop is as well. the top holes for the hood are bolted to the fenders, and in the front, i used the clips that come with honda plastic.

The more you trim, the better it fits.

GenXatv makes a sweet fiberglass hood for a 450r that (with some trimming) will fit, and will look different than everyone else's Quadtech.
