Am I right that I heard there is a grey wire to be cut or disconnected to help get my sons 06 TRX90 a little faster. Also, what are the cheap/free mods to get this thing to go a little better.

Thanks

From what I have read it is the pink wire not the gray wire. Maybe it changed on the '06 and up. But the '05 and older ones it is the pink one. I have a '03 and a '05 but haven't done it yet. You get a little more speed out of it by doing that.

i have a 07 model, and it is pink. it is behind the front sprocket cover. if i remember right it comes out with another wire on top of that cover. and both wires go to a plug. you cant unplug the plug. i think the other wire is for the neutral safety switch.

Have an 06. The wire is pink. It eliminates the rev limiter I believe in forth gear. Did it and didn't see any real improvements, just able to rev out higher when on long straights. Exhaust, jet, and open air box and you will see good cheap improvements. Other than that look at sprockets if you want to stay in a budget.

So do I cut or just unplug this wire?

You can cut it or put wire connectors on it so you can plug it back in if you ever want to. What ever is easiest for you to do.
