caliper movement on my pred

wondering how much is normal? it slides up and down a bit with the bracket. from the looks of it it just rests on that pin and is connected somewhere else. wondering how much play is normal? and if theres a way i can stop it

It is a floating caliper, so some movement is normal. How much? I don't know....more than a little and less than too much? lol

True that! Ride it, and don't look at the brake system! Its not much of an engineering marvel to say the least!

Yup I'm happy as long as It works. Lol. Wasn't sure because my 400 is different and this thing makes a clunk from the bracket when its ridden. Might almost be considered annoying
