400ex or 450r frame

I purchased a 2005 400ex quad of an auction with a bill of sale and i want to title is so i bought a frame off of ebay with title. I accidentaly purchased the frame for a 2005 trx450r will this frame work or should i look for a 400ex frame?

Also i am not very familiar with the honda lineup. Could you please let me know what years to look for in the 400ex lineup. I would not mind getting a 2008 frame so I can sell it at a better price if i sell it and upgrade to the real deal trx450r.

Sell the 450 frame, nothing will work on it. You just need to buy a 400ex frame and it doesn't matter what year model it is, they're all the same

Not sure how your state works but in Michigan you can take a bill of sale to the secretary of state and have a title issued. Should be alot cheaper than a new frame.

I live in Texas and they do not allow a bill of sale to be title, i also live close to New Mexico and they have the same type of policy.

HOWEVER!!!! being that I took a few minutes to look through this aaaawwwweessssooommeee site.. I found a 2006 frame for about 200.00 shipped with a title :eek2:

This is the first time i have ever used a forum and am very pleased with all the members i have encountered. I will use everyones advice to trick out this TOY and post Pics once it looks the way i want it to look. :macho
