wondering what size rims and tires people are running mx, xc and style of tire works the best for you looking to get new rims and tires for my bike would like some good suggestions

When I bought mine it had ITP mudlites on it. Thought they were ok until I put on ITP holeshots. All the difference in the world. The softer rubber reduced jolts from bumps by 10x it seemed. Traction increased on everything but mud.

I think they both were 22-11-9

For MX your going to want a 18x10x8 or maybe a 20" rear then 19x6x10 or 20x6x10 fronts. Brand and the ply or stiffness of the tire is up to you or based on the surface of the track you will be riding. I have always liked maxxis but other swear by itp.

itps are a good tire but tio me they dont last as long as maxxis does.... i just got a set of these... i'll have tosee how they work out... i think they are a more "2 stroke style" tire... kinda like the old turf tamers... but time will tell...
