Stiff Thumb Throttle

I seen once (forever ago) about something you can get to ease your throttle on your YFZ450. I know it's natural that they are THAT stiff, but I'd really love to find a way to ease this.

Would buying some of those chrome/carbon thumb throttles on Ebay help it? Or do you guys have any other suggestions?

get a softer throttle spring.

I haven't had any problems with my thumb going numb or cramping up since I installed this on my yfz over a year ago. You can also do some mod to the stock spring that has the same effect but the $20 is worth it to know it's done right.

you can install a honda throttle assembly on it.. helps a lot..

How much does it ease it up? Is it still stiffer than the competitors, or about the same?

As for the other guy, I'll never put anything Honda on my Yamaha.

You could put the YFZR throttle on. It works even better than the honda one.

I own a 450r, idk much about the yfz but on my dad's shee, his throttle was hard, we took off the carbs and cut the spring in there, and then stretched it out. Idk if this helps but i figured a little input wouldn't hurt :D
