anything to look for when inspecting the water pump under the cover?
Im giving the motor a brief look over and noticed i can turn the impeller slightly without turning the motor over. is there a little play in the pump shaft to whatever is driving it (counterbalancer)? Or do I need to pull the clutch cover off?

dont worry, i think everyones water pump has a little slack in it. Look for corrosion on the componets and broken fins on the impellar.
