Ok, i haven't seen a thread for these yet, im still waiting to get my outlaw, but i started looking for nerfs, i cant really find any actual pics of them mounted?!?
most of the manufacturers just show a general pic of a nerf, and not on an outlaw, and the ones i can find are all 08/07's.

im getting an 09 eventually, but i really would like to see some pics of nerfs mounted, and which ones they are.

im sure this will be really informative and helpful to more peeps than just myself.

the 09's have a built in aluminum heel guard, so the nerfs with the alum heel arent really necessary.

i know the pegs position was moved, and im not really sure if the 08's will fit the 09's, and most sites just show like

07+ 450/525s...

any help would be nice, and even post up pics of 07 or 08's too, cause its nice to know whats all out there.

Thx Power.:D

For Nerfs bars:
outlaw IRS 2009 = outlaw 450/525 S 2008-09 :)

so, what your saying is that the 09 irs, uses the same nerfs as the 08 and 09 450/525s ?

and that even tho the pegs were relocated on the 09's, that the 08 nerfs still work?

edited: i noticed that i didnt say that im getting the 09 525s...

They'll fit but the rear fender mount at the bottom is different between the 2, a buddy of mine has the 09 with 08 rath nerfs and heelgaurds and the rear fenders flop

well, that doesnt sound like they really fit lol

i know the pegs were moved, and alot of nerfs mount to the pegs, thats y i think it would cause issues, never really thought about the rear plastic gettin all flobidity.

i wouldn't personally wanna replace the factory heel guards, cause their aluminum already, would prefer standard nerf. hell, my heel guards now are mia somewhere, and i havent really noticed an issue, but its a 400ex, the rear doesnt have any support.

That is right they are not an exact fit :) you can make them fit but than you have fitment issues elsewhere ..fender flop.

Here is a picture of one of our MX race bikes in action.

I used my 08 Rath pro pegs without heel guards on my 09 outlaw they fit great. I left the factory heel guards on to support the rear fender. If you are buying nerfs I would recommend the Rath propegs with heels guards. This is what I should have bought in the first place it would have saved me a lot of fender problems

as far as fender flop, good old zipties, may not look pretty, but function always beats form.
