Wel i am sure that a stock 300ex would put out around 17 or 18hp well about the k+n i put mine on and didnt notice any differnce whatsoever. i think they claim about 1/2 to 1hp.

my friends brother has a 300, and there was a dyno sheet with the white brothers pipe. it said that the stock 300 made 12 hp ( :huh ) and with the white brothers it made 17, which is BS i think, but just saying. im sure it makes more than 12. when i was 8 i had an LT80 that made 14 HP at the rear wheels......

A 300ex puts out approx. 17hp at the rear wheels. The K&N filter with airbox mods and proper jetting might gain you nearly 1hp.:D

Keep the K&N well oiled with an outerwear and you shouldn't have any problems with dust and mud.

BTW---1 Word.........N.O.S.:D :D

ok the dyno sheet your friend got is for the 250x since they are the same basic engine it, the pipe works the same and your lt80 didnt have no 14 hp

15.9 STOCK, The filter might give 1 hp, just take off the lid (if you can in you riding conditions) and you will get a much better gain. make sure and rejet

16.9 is what I've always read. So a K&N really isn't that great after all, eh? What about a uni filter or some other kind of foam filter, do they give better power gains?

K&N flows the best but, a foam filter gives more protection.
