im in the market for a new set of chain and sprockets. I think i am going to go with the DID xring again and the renthals. what do you guys think? I have had them for about 4 years now. Any good luck with any of the stuff you guys run and how long have they lasted you? I cant do the sidewinders or i would buy them. they are the best by far. let me know guys. thanks steve

i dont know about cheap but i would say one of the best around is the did x ring. they have one of the most tensile strengths of any chain as far as a chart i saw a while back. i have not had any trouble with mine. sunstar makes them too by the way. lol. i have heard some good and bad about them lets hear some stuff. I know people have them on here. lol steve

I have did xrings on my R's and ive never had a prob wearing em out or them being too loose. I got mine on ebay usually you can find good deals on there just have to get thru the junk ones. Im prob going to end up getting one for the ex real soon also as far as sprockets go just get a catalog and call around you can find good deals that way.

i got both sprockets and a chain from ebay. went non o ring as alot of people say it doesnt make that big of a difference as long as your good on keeping it lubed. so far its good. only had a 1 km trip onit. but im going for a ride this week so ill let you know how it goes and if it stretches any during the ride
