Suzuki 230 SH questions

I'm getting a good deal on a Suzuki 230 SH quad. It should be an '86/'87. It's in pieces but that's half the fun! I'm new to the quad world. Can you guys/girls tell me anything about them? Anyone have one?

not sure what you mean by SH but i had a quadsport. make sure your carrier bearings are good or else you will throw your chain and crack your left case and end up buying a new 200 dollar one. also get a case saver while your at it. get the new shifter linkage because that is more than likely bad. other than that they are a lot of fun. just make sure everything is up to snuff before you start ripping it up or you can end up having some major problems.

Also watch your revs. The 230 Suzuki is a known rod chunker. They DO NOT like high rpm's.
