300ex won't start all of a sudden

started one second... let it ran. turned it off. tried to start a few seconds later and it just clicked. checked the fuse, battery connections, solenoid connections, etc. still just a click. then a few clicks later it wasn't doing anything at all

so now i press the starter button and i've got nothing. ideas?

I would say starter my buddys 450r did the same thing one minute it started next time he tried to crank it didnt.It clicked a few times like that also, but get a few more replys to see what others say.

yeah i'm thinking starter or solenoid took a crap... i really hopes it not the starter because i don't have time to wait for a used one to get here but i could get a solenoid probably overnight from a dealer

Yea thats the best way if you want one fast. My buddy got his rebuilt took bout a month. Let me know what it was set the stage.
