Haha I hope that no one tries a triple backflip. They are landing so hard when they do a double flip because they are coming down from so high, it would be a crazy impact on a triple backflip!

Last night he was landing pretty far down the landing ramp, it prolly would have been better if the ramp was 3-4 ft farther back. He stopped and got off his bike both times because he hurt his ankles from the impact. On the replays it looked like his ankle was just buckling when he landed. He was way up there in the air!!

Hasn't Jim on the Nitro Circus successfully landed a front flip to dirt on a full size MX bike?

i know he landed one on a specially-modified rm85 or something off a small gap..

thomas and charles pages both landed it off 75' gap and their regular freestyle 250s.

and yea i think this could be the best year of X games for fmx yet... can you imagine a double backflip or frontflip or body varial or bike flip come in 4th place??? just about any other years those tricks take gold no doubt.

and i cant wait to see what pastrana does
