I'm finally going to get one as long as everything goes smoothly tomorrow. It's pretty much a stock bike that needs a little fixing up. Got big plans for it and I hope to be able to help out alot on this forum. I was also going to order some oil from rocky mountain so I wanted to make sure that what I plan on getting is alright. lol just seems like theres so many choices but I am probably goin to go with Klotz R-50 at 32:1 and just 93 octane. Then for the tranny Klotz Flex Drive 30 Synthetic in the 32 oz bottle. should I buy two of these? Thanks for any help

Good luck with the purchase. I just bought my first R in April, I'm 45 years old. :muscle: Mine was ready to ride, and I'm having a blast. :D I use the R50 from Rocky Mtn. it works great. Love the smell. On the tranny I use the Honda HP Trans oil in the red bottle. I'm sure the Klotz Flex Drive is good stuff also. Have fun and enjoy. :)

I'm happy with Klotz stuff...they seem to make a good product. I've run Golden Spectro, Castor 927, and BelRay in the past, and I like Super Techniplate the best.

I also run the red Honda oil in the transmission.

The guy I bought it from said they were nice tires before the previous owner did a burnout on pavement. Thinking about trying to stud them for the ice this winter.
