a arm skids ????

any body have a pattern or idea how to make and mount your own?
i got som aluminium and made my belly skid but id like to make some a arm skids to

you could use some card board to form them how you want then lay it flat to cut them out of metal. bend them up and make sure you leave room for some u bolts to mount them. get 3 or 4 for each and you should be set. I have seen them mounted that way or they use the half clamps but they would be a bit harder to make. good luck and if you can when you are done try to post the dimensions and stuff and will make them on solid works and make a screen shot of them so people can print them off or i will scan it as a picture so people can print them. thanks steve
