can you powder coat stock a-arms without removable ballpoints without hurting them

Pappy can elaborate more but he told me no about a month or so ago. Said something about the grease running out and messing it all up.

ya the grease will run out of it because you have to bake the parts when you powder coat and and it boils the grease right out of it i wouldnt do it

I have 2 sets of stock a-arms chromed and had one set powder coated yes the grease has to be out. What I did was take as much grease out that I could with paper towels and carb cleaner.
My coater then called me a week later they were ready the key take that grease out it will ruin a powder coat job.
