Is suzuki doing ny updates to the ltr450 other than BNG (bold new graphics)

They released the 2010 dirtbike info today.Maybe we will know soon.

i talked to wimmer in alabama and he mentioned something about a aluminum sub frame

The '09 LTR's aready have that lol! From what I've been told....ALL aluminum frame, FI, factory LT setup, keeps the under tail exhaust, light and fast!

the 09's and 10's have a new 3rd gear but there no better than what they had. in practice bike 3rd gear went about 7 months agoso i put 09 gear in it and it just went a couple weeks ago

does ATP make 3rd gears for the 09

atp's 3rd gear goes in any year ltr.

Ummmm no it doesn't....only '08-'09s the 2010 isn't even out so I don't know where you got that. I highly doubt Suzuki would keep the same engine in a new chassis. It's good engine but can always be better.

ok then why did my friends 07 3rd go out and he put atp's 3rd in it? they where made for the 08's but they go in any year

nonononononono, he is stating that the 2010 model is suppose to be totally new. at least chassis and engine, so then no the tranny gears might not work. see.

Here's why they won't work..... the counter shaft in the 06-07s is different in design from the 08-09s counter shaft. However, the drive shaft (the one that your front sprocket goes on) is the same, BUT the billet 3rd gears only work as a set due to the teeth are cut deeper, so you can't mix and match them with the factory gears......understand???

Yeah you're right Mario......I derailed this train hardcore. Even though I'll pry wait til 2011 to get one I am stoked on whats to come from Suzuk......and Honda.

yeaI'm interested too. Thats why I didn't buy this year I knew it was too long on the same design with the other brands all changing up

I was hoping to see some updates and changes for 2010 on the suzuki but the only thing you will see different is colors and graphic kits. There will not be any major changes or changes making the new 2010 worth buying.

I have already seen the 2010 and here is part of an email from suzuki to me.


The 2010 model went into production in May. They will be here in Canada the first week of July.
There are no changes between a 2009 and 2010 model other than colours and graphics.

where did all the rumors of the all-new redesign come from? i was kinda hyped to see a new update for '10, but i guess i am happy with my current LTR, so i cant complain.

Yeah he is he sold me a kciker kit off wimmers bike the other day because they didnt have any in stock at the time.
