Dont let out clutch so fast in first ,then you short shift though gears dont need to run gears all the way before shifting to next .I get holeshot everytime.

having to much tire is a big contributer to wheelies,( i know having been there done that), putting on an extended swingarm is a major factor to stoping wheelie, but at best thats going to cost $400.
you could also lower the rear end ,theres an adjustable link that can be had from ebay for about $90. and believe it or not it works.

I HAMMER IT OUT THE GATE IN SECOND AND SLOWLY MAKE MY WAY TO THE BACK OF THE SEAT RIGHT BEFORE SHIFTING 3RD.I TOTE THE WHEELS JUST A COUPLE OF INCHES OFF THE GROUND BUT I DO HAVE A +1 1/2 SWINGER

My biggest improvement was new rear tires stocks suck for racing they dont hook up and roll in turns get new tires will see big change.

Well, I think your best option is the extended swinger, it really keeps it from being a wheelie happy quad. Plus it really keeps the "bucking" effect down when hitting some nasty terrain. I still have to press down on the bars during the start(dead quad start). Also, the Razr 2(if your running it) can be part of the issue also. I switched my rear tire to the Knarlys and Kutters and had better success with them. Them Razr 2 are just too damn heavy IMO and they grip toooooo good. I definately agree with the 2nd gear start and I just dump the clutch. I tried different ways of releasing the clutch and it got me no where except chasing YFZ'S into the woods. Just dump it! But if your stuck on the Razr 2(if your running it) and want something similar, get the GBC X-REX.

i run regular razrs in the rear with razr2s in the front. but all the swingarms are like $600+ for a half decsent one

is there any other quad swingers that are the same for the z? beacause there arent many people parting out their z's now

do you mean like from a honda or what ever ? not that i know of.
i do know that a honda's swingarm is narrower, but if that was
put on a Z and enough spacers used to take up th space on the pivot bolt you would also have to have the rear shock, linkage and the brake caliber.
i do know of some one that can make your stock one longer , it will cost you $400.and maybe some shipping cost.
and if you have made 4'' longer as i did you will also need to lower
the rear end , thats because the chain wants to rub on the swingarm at the pivet point.only about $90. more.

Do what Jonboy said and shift like a mutherf**ker ! It takes some practice, but it does work. Whats your gearing?

Try putting a 15 tooth front sprocket on. It will make the gearing taller, but should also the limit the wheelie effect to a certain degree.
