Well guys i was looking through the classified adds in my area and found a crf450 piped and has 2 set of plastics its a 04 looks really nice havent yet looked at it.........my bike is a 01 440ex with mods in my sig i like my 440 but like the raw power of the crf i have been on 2 wheels before not just on my 440 lol but i ownd a cr250r 2 smoker before i got my 440 just wondering wat you guys think of the trade is the crf worth my 440?????? anyway i was just hoping someone would chim in

yea i love my ex but im haveing problems storing it takes up too much space at my buddies garage being as he just blew up his trans am gta and need to either sell or pay for storage or trade for faster dirtbike

i would definitely trade, i like the look of the crf450. and this one sounds like it's in good condition.

If you can see if you can find an 05 or newer. They made alot of changes in 05 and stayed closely the same up to 08.

i would because i see alot of ppl on craigslist who want to trade for 450 dirt bikes for there 450 quads if you ever want to get back into wheeling

id get the crf if thats what u want , hondas seem to have the most valve problems and the 04 was the last year of the BIGGER frame,in 05 honda changes to a slightly smaller frame which reduced weight and handled better, ask the owner about maitence and if he had the valves replaced , make sure the bike is cold and see how it starts hot if valves are out of adjustment it will be a ***** to start, also plan just in case if it does need new valves a company called MXTIME does good work its 425 dollars . post some pics of the bike when u get them
