grinding out the welds?

i have veiwed many topics where poeple suggest grinding out the welds on the header?
i have a 400ex and was wondering if this could be done on it
if so does anyone have pics

Yes it can be done, sry I dont have any pics.

When they suggest grinding the welds they are refering to stock headders so yes you can. Just take your headders off and grind the weld on the edge with a dremel and you are done. I have seen pics on the forums somewhere but i can't find them.

but im still confused on exactly where the welds are that need to be grinded and what will this exactly do

The welds are about a half inch inside the header. Ther is one on each pipe commin out of the motor and they go all the way around. Just put ur finger in there and rub it around and u will feel them. I just used a dremel tool and ground em smooth. If u have any more questions, dont be afraid to PM me.
