my new chain and sprocket set finally came in and its going on this weekend. i chewed the rear sprocket on my last ride so im replacing that aswell. so ive gotta pull off the back wheel. am i safe using an impact gun to get it off and put it on? i know it sits on that plastic hub but havent looked much farther into it, how tight do i put it? 100 lb ft like a car wheel? also how tight do i set the screws for the rear sprocket? thanks

tight is tight and broke is broke... lol i've used my impact on about everything, but usually i only use hand tools just to get a feel on it.. torque specs i don't have a clue..

ivve always been told 40-50 ft lbs of torque, but i usually just snug it up with my hands, then just step on the wrench one good time, but dont force it, just kinda do a quick push, till it tightens

correctomundo. the wheel studs WILL break if you over torque them. make sure you pack the splines with grease before reassembly.

keep checking your hubs to make sure the haven't backed off any just in case after you ride...
