Sorry Broadband Racers!!

Guys, I am sorry, things didng exactly work out! LoL


I was/am trying to give directions with a CONTROLLER!! I should have been more clear on a couple things, 1. like when we are meeting after the 1rst and second round, 2.what to do with no shows, and 3. what do to if somebody else takes your place.

1. Next tourny after the first round, meet 20 mins after tourny started. and 20 mins after that for the 2nd round.

2. No shows...if there is a no-show, then the top 2 ppl still advance...just makes it easier to advance.

3 if somebody hosts and ppl that arent supposed to race...leave it and host again...your racers SHOULD know who you are.


We WILL have another tourny next week end. I should have a keyboard by then.


Since we had so much trouble tonight, I wont be naming a TRUE champ. because of how pourly this worked out. BUT I am going to mention how fast Suter is, DAMN! LoL Everytime I raced him, he was ATLEAST 10 secs ahead of me! WOW good job!


Also Hopefully Wired can race too!

thx for trying fred and with the lobby/chat setup in atv2 it will always be a problem but better luck on next tourney. its to bad atv dont have the option of locking a room with a pass and naming it rd 1 heat 1 or something like that, sure would make it easier for host cause trying to get in a race with certain ppl while all the other racers are trying to get in the room makes it dificult at times.

Ya, and I'm beginning to think choosing a Sunday night wasnt the greatest idea, that seems to be when the most people are on there....o well....I will try to work everything out for the next one...so, whoever wants to race...sign up!!!

We need to make sure that everyone has all the tracks and quads unlocked before trying to host.

Once when I was hosting I got a network error and kicked off, which stopped the game. So we need to decide what to do if that happens. Should I host again?

I just want to say everyone I did get to race, raced me real clean and there was no excessive banging or trying to run me off the track. :)

I look forward to next week. Fred you did a good job, there was just alot of traffic in the chat rm and everyone kept trying to jump into our races.

What tracks for next week? Heck, we can try the same ones if everyone wants to.

How about I host a chat on AIM 10mins before that way we can chat and see who shows and who don’t. It will make it easier for us to get going that chat room in the game is too nutty, Then no matter if I advance or not ill leave room open that way there is a meeting point always. I know everyone's PC's aren't next to there TV's but that’s why we start 10mins before or we could start in chat sooner than that if needed.

i won the "first" final by like 20 sec w/ pray 2nd jd was battling back and forth w/ pray and suter was last then suter and jd got kicked out suter never showed back up so jd pray and i ran a 2nd final i won by 23 sec w/ jd second and pray a close third it was a good race just a lil confusing and im lookn forward to the next one :)

Well If they don't have AIM they need to say so,,,, also they can check in by replying to the Thread 15mins before the race and ill watch the for there post's,,,,, I have a PC next to my TV.

Ok, I have AIM, but dont really use it. For some reason when I tried joining a race Suter was hosting and it said it failed! Does anybody know why that happened? It has also happened to me before, I just figured they were dial-up and I wasnt able to race them. Whats wrong? :confused:

It happened to me as well. I kept trying and finally got into the race I was supposed to be in. We all just need to be patient with these problems and not get in a hurry and just work around them. It will remain fun this way.

I think I made DEEZNUTZ PO'd cuz my system locked up when he was winning. But damn it wasn't my fault. :(

hey guys.
i am also sorry about some of those races. i was ahvin some issues with my system. the ps2 froze up 3 times in the races and i had to reset it. anybody else have this happen. i think it was because of all the people. fred, i think it kept failing because i already had 3 others that logged into the race before you. ohh well. it was still fun but im looking foward to the next tourny.
