Best OEM plastic price?

Where have you guys found the cheapest price on OEM plastics and how much? The microfische is hard to follow; looks like it's asking you to buy the left/right sides of the front seperate. Think I may have to buy Maier whites from RM Atv.

The oem 88 right front can be ordered from honda...the left front and hood are discontinued. I think the rears are discontinued too. There is nowhere to find cheap discontinued oem fenders...very pricy when found new anywhere.

I had a set for sale just before they were discontinued for $600 shipped with a discontinued hood, not for sale now.

However as All 250R has stated, put the order in to Service honda - (best price) and allows honda to see there is demand. Tell them you don't want the order to be filled until the set can be complete that way it registers that people are ordering.

OEM plastic has been discontinued several times then usually comes back 6-9 months later. Not sure if that will happen this time or not cause it's a pricey piece and most people are selling rather than buying new stuff.

Thanks for the help, guys. I'll probably end up going with the Maier stuff; I'm not building a show-piece or a full-on restoration. I just know typically OEM (especially Honda oem) is the good stuff. If it's going to be a clusterfunk and cost me 2-3 times as much; naaaa....I'll pass.

The fenders are going away too? Are you sure? What happened that made you realize they were discontinued?

A good friend bought a full set of red minus the hood from Honda two months ago. Have they discontinued them since then?

I ordered some 88 oem front fenders and the left front came back from bike bandit as discontinued last week.

what about the white anybody know? Service Honda still shows them for sale, but that doesn't mean anything. I'd like a set of brand new OEM white for my 89 to save back when I restore it.

All you can do is put your order in to Honda and see if they come back as discontinued.

The right fender/rear 88 trx250r and left fender/rear fender for 89 are still availble from Honda. The rest are discontinued.

You have to put in the orders. This has happened several times already.

2 x that I know of nothing was available, then everything was available, now it's back to being retarded where you can get a left front but not a right. Who orders just one new front fender?

I doubt its a case of people ordering one front fender. Most likely there is probably an amount ordered from the manufacturer and more of one fender made it thru quality inspection or manufacturing than the other. It's probably a case of their inventory being dwindled down to singles now.

The discontinued 88 new hood recently sold in Ebay for $405 plus shipping and New left fender went for $350 plus shipping...I hope Honda will produce these again...I can't affort this...lol
