if i got the 450r i would probally put a stage 1 cam, high comp piston, k&n, and hmf full system.

2 TOTALLY different quads. can't really compare the 2. well, i can't anyway. i'd go with 4 and a half.

you can get a lot more for your money than that right now...but if i had to choose i would go with the 450, i love two strokes but they are slowly dissappearing and you'll end up on the 450 eventually anyways

im not going to doing any racing, i just want another quad to go a little faster than the ol' four hundy ex (400ex)!!

that 250r is beautiful!!!! thats one hell of a quad offer the guy like 4000 for the 250r and see if he would take it

i mostly do trails mild to fast, open fields, sand flats...not dunes and my 400ex just doesnt cut it. ive heard that the r is a 2 stroke replica of the 400ex how are they on speed to the 400ex. is a banshee even worth considering??

i still say stick with the 450, especially making the switch from the 400. same riding style no big changes other than more handling and power.

im going to postpone the buy for a year cause of money issues so should i just bore, port and polish, and slap a cam in the 400?? how well do u think the 400 will sell if i put that stuff in it?? of course the stuff will be professionally done.

if u 400 doesnt smoke or run bad JUST RUN IT , dont waste money unless u have to
