I know i know, there are a million questions on jetting, but i am not sure of what to jet my 406 to. It has an 11;1 piston, pipes.. and filter. I was told it is needing jetted, i dont know what size jets to get.. someone please help me. Thanks

on my stock carb when i had it -i had full lrd exhaust ,filter 12.1 pistion,,i had my carb set 4th from the top on my clip,,,165 main jet..50 pilot jet and 2 and a half turns on the air/fuel screw ..it ran great ....

Have you ever tried putting a 40 or 42 pilot in? Mine ran great with the 38 but then I put in a 42, WOW..... 1st through 3rd was like on steroids.

no i havent i guess maybe i will have to try it after all. i may be able to find one in town at one of the shops. it sounds like it is much better. steve

any honda shop should have them. They cost $5 at the most. Plus with the 42 you don't need the choke.

maybe even jetsrus would have them too. I got my mains from our yamaha dealer since our local honda dealer does not carry any jets on hand they have to order them. lol, steve
