Can someone tellme what hoses go where on the carb. The petcock, one nipple goes straight down then there is another kind of behind it. I assume the one behind is the vaccum. On the carb (right side sitting on the bike) there is a larger nipple toward the rear (looks like gas) then a smaller one higher and closer to the front, vaccum?

Closest to the motor: vaccum
Middle: fuel supply
Front: vent

got it running finally... Could not get it to fire so I pulled the top end. Sweet, brand new piston and cylinder but the guy did not tighten the head bolts! not enough compression to run it. Coated the cylinder with a little oil, tightened it up and she is a runner. It has real good bottom end power, I'm a little dissapointed with the top end. Her pw50 will out run it, my guess is 30mph. The belt is pretty worn so I'll try a new one.

They are only supposed to go 30 or so in stock form.

OK, so it is not far off I suppose. Feels like it could take alot more gear without killing the bottom end. Also, in an earlier post I talked about the starter "draging". Well a buddy of mine works at a dealer... he heard it start and said the starter was not turning the motor over fast enough. It eventually will start but it hates it. Any luck taking the apart and cleaning them?

It can take a tooth or 2 increase in the front, but you'll prolly have to remove 2 rollers to get it out of the hole.

Dam starters. :( Altho, they usually don't have issues.
I like the pull start.

I'mgoing to look for a pull starter, If I have to buy a new starter I'm half way there. They get real strong money for used oneson ebay, probably better off just getting a new one.

oh I forgot. I can see how guys are getting big power with porting and a pipe on these. When I had the cylinder off I can't believe how bad the exhaust port is. I bet you could get some gains just by cleaning up that port.

Your correct. You can raise it .090 but you'll need to shave the head .040.
It may take a lil tuning to get the clutchs to work with the motor.
I can make over 2x the stock hp with the stock pipe. 3x with the trinity pipe. :D
