From what I've been seeing the YFZR cams are really small compared to the YFZ. Those parts are interchangeable. Snider Motorsports (whose a sponser on this site) did some work and could probably give you the hookup on what'll make this bike perform.

Wow the yfzR in stock form doesn't make 44hp lol
More like 38-39...

From what I have read and seen on some dyno's on yfzcentral the stock yfz makes around 38-39 horse and the yfzr makes about 41-42 depending on who does the dyno. There also having some problems getting power out of the yfzr compared to the yfz.

I'm not doubting your results. I'm sure as you know every dyno is gonna get a different reading. I'm just going by the dyno's that I have seen on yfzcentral.com.

The gt thunder dyno runs a little high. But like all dynos you just have to go off the base runs as every dyno is different. From that graph you can see They are getting 12 more horsepower out of pipe, cams, airbox lid off, port, and controller

I'm not sure what kind of cams Laz is using. Give him a call.

As for the dyno I agree with Coryatver. I posted it to show the gain with the simple mods they had added. I'm not so much worried about the numbers...
