Hi everyone I felt the need to post some pics sent to me and talk about my Unadilla experience. First off we (my mechanic and myself) didn't get the YFZ running and work good until 10pm Wednesday and my friend Steve and I didn't leave his place til Thursday 1230 am. After 20 or so hours of driving we got there at 9pm Atlantic time. We had to sleep in the truck because of the rain that night. I ended up having to use the battery charger or get my bike boosted that weekend just so I could race. Because of the boosting I got a sponsorship with Motoworks. Everything was going well until I melted a oil line and like Pappy said my bike was covered in oil luckily didn't do any damage. I placed 9th out of 10 in Open C and 11th out of 14 in 4 Stroke C. Not bad with havng no seat time since October. I would like to thank all my sponsors, the Noyes family, Lewis ATV MX, Both Can-AM teams, South Side Polaris, DC Motorsports, Hetrick Racing, Factory Yamaha, Jeff Kitchen for helping me out all weekend.
Here are some pictures from Chrissy Rusaw (Ryan Rusaw's mom). ATV Nationals is where its at!

What's it like jumping? Are the landings harder on you?

Also, what's your biggest fear when riding (if any)?

good and long then costly after my front wheel bearings went, dust seals on the front rotors and cv joint went on the drive shaft then i had to get the driveshaft rebuilt. got a new battery for the yfz getting a custom box made to make it fit but this battery is much stronger then the previous. wouldn't trade the experience for the world

This picture is why this sport is one of the best. Factory Team members helping out someone that doesn't even ride their brand .

Props to you for showing that your disability will not slow you down.

Thats not just team members, the guy on the right is Warnert Racings owner, Mark.

Ill be honest, I never even noticed Ben on the track. I knew he was due out soon and didnt see him till later in the day. I know some folks probably think he would just idle around the track....not the case!!!! he scooted around there pretty darn good!

ben, I emailed you the shot, let me know if it made it

I'm sure you get this a lot, but I have to say you're one of the biggest inspirations I've ever seen. You make me feel like a wuss when I start complaining about something not going right when I'm riding.

You should look up Todd Macke man!!! The program he has and the people that support him, you would make an excelent addition!!! It's called ART if you never heard of it: Ability Riders of Tomorrow... I can get his contact info if ya like. He's from around Central Illinois. Last year he got Ben Brown up in Canada on a quad. He is paralized also. I know you hear it alot, but what you do for the sport is top notch!!!

MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU AND THE OTHER PARALIZED RACERS!!!

on my sunday races the oil line from the oil tank to valve cover happened to pop off and melt on the head pipe. the one i had originally was a lil on the short side suprised i never had it happen before. my friend andrew made sure i got good length on this one and hes currently making me an alumium battery box to fit my bigger battery. i got a ytx 12 a 9 was in it and the guys at napa were suprised the 9 could even turn the yfz over last year.

We got the pleasure of meeting you this weekend. We were the crazy mini quad group that was pitted with DC Motorsports. I am glad that I took you up to Can AM and they were able to help you out. I didn't see you after that to see how things went but I am glad that you got to race. You are definitely an inspiration for us all. It was nice to meet you and hopefully we'll see you again some time!!! By the way love the seat cover...."Never Give Up"
