New Chain and Sprockets

Hey guys,

Just put on a new chain and sprockets from RockyMountain.
14 front and 40 rear 520X96 o-ring chain (stock sizes)

I had to fully shorten the adjustment just to get the Master link on. Chain is pretty tight, is this normal/safe?

Will it stretch that much?

Your supposed to have your carrier moved the whole way up when you put a new chain on so that's not bad and after 15 or less minutes of riding it will stretch and sometimes need tightened and oiled for sure.

The old chain had a sag even with the carrier fully out so this is the complete opposite for me.
