no only the 04-05 carbs work on the 400ex the years 06-present are to tall

the the 450 fcrs are taller than the yfz (39 mm) and you run into fitment issues plus that price is expensive

ok thanks guys. could i run a 05 carb that has work done to it on my quad? also anyone with a 450r carb on there 400ex please respond i need to know if the jetting changes alot or not at all. please respond with the current jets you put in.

theres 2 stickied threads devoted to this at the top of the section page. they'll have everything you're looking for.. but yes, jetting changes drastically.
