i went to start the r today and i went to kick it and the kicker wouldnt come back up. what could the problem be?

there is a spring in there it either broke or slipped out of its pin holder.Pull the side cover off and you will find out pretty quick.

something is going on with the mechanism/assembly of the kicker and/or ramp. i've had the contact areas of the ramp and "actuator" get knarled up and cause issues very similar as to what you describe. although there could be something else causing it aswell. best thing to do is to pull the cover off and carefully inspect things.

i've actually have heard of this happen if the bike has set awhile and things get dry of tranny lub and cause the kicker to stick. hope any of this was a help. :cool:

bike bandit, and you dont need a new gasket, unless you tore it or ripped it when taking it off. i have used clutch cover gaskets 3 times over with no leaks.

bike bandit does not have it and i used the same gasket i just heated it up and bent it back to shape where the pice broke off and it works fine
