They are the older style upper suspension arm. They used them from 87 to I believe 90.Not worth too much in my opinion.

The J-arm is basically a fancy upper a-arm. The banshee's had them from 1987-1990. Instead of having an upper arm that goes around both the front and back of the shock, it's basically one giant beefy "J" that goes in front of the shock. I have this style frame.

They are actually in my opinion, a better set up. The J-arm frame banshee compared to the A-arm frame banshee, is 14lbs lighter as a whole. The J-arms are lighter and make less sprung weight.

The ONLY downfall to the J-arms, is because it's a little more stress on the mounting point, it eats up bushings faster.

For a whole banshee? As long as it's in running condition then hell yeah. I bought my 89 for $500 but the engine was destroyed when I got it.

So if it runs good for $1000 and isn't beat to hell, jump on it. Or post some pics up.
