i just got new seats put on the intake side of my head, its a 05 450r, the guy who did the machine work for me wasnt sure how deep to cut the seats so he left them pretty tall, im up to around a 2.55 shim from the hotcams kit, it measures at about .100 with a micrometer and its way bigger then any shims ive ever used before. is it ok to be at that size shim or should the seats be cut down father so the shim size goes down. i mean i still have pretty much a whole box of shim sizes even bigger but im not sure if its ok to have that tall of a shim in these motors. any help is appreciated, i need to get this thing done like tomorrow so.
