ltr450 steering stem HELPP!!!

got a new tag stem do i need a longer throttle cable for it and anyone who knows how the brackets work that wrap around the stem for the bolts work let me know i bent mine and im not sure how they go on ?

I just bought a tag stem also I had to re-rought my stock throttle and clutch cable. I also had to cut the plastic by the stem I saw this on another forum. I will try and post some pics.

you dont need longer cables just need to run them different way. just go to motosport.com and look at the diagram to put it together
