Price for a used 400ex

Well its time i sell me 2001 250ex. Great bike, and everything but i need more speed and power, plus before i went to riding quads i raced dirtbikes so im still used to a clutch :P.

Well what my question is... i need to know what a 98-00 400ex price range would be, i bought my 250ex for $6400.00 (Canadian) if i remember right. So im thinking if i trade it in, i'll prolly get around $5000.00 for its i hope (look like new still). Do u think that could cover a used 400ex possibly ?

anyhow if someone know what a used 98-00 400ex would go for in Cnd money :P let me know, thx.

Well Syrus, I dont think you will get 5k for the 250ex... It just seems real high for it, maybe $4500 (CND) but that is still high. A stock 98-00 would maybe be an $4500 but you wont find a stock one for that low around here. Try autotrader (http://www.trader.ca) and see what the prices are on there. Good luck, my EX was going for 5600+tax I got it for a lot lower though(I got him down to the price he needed to break even, because it was his last one and the snow was comming).

I do suggest looking for one now, the prices will be lower because of the snow.

i had a 2000 recon and i asked a dealer how much he would give me for it and he said $2500, and that was back in 2001.:huh

I just bought mine for $4300. Its a 01' 400EX-2+1 A-arms, Lone Star axle, PEP steering stabilizer, Works triple rate w/resivors, Douglas rims w/ Holeshots(front) and Turf Tamers(rear), Pro Taper bars and nerfs & Curtis Sparks exhaust

The 400 EX came out in 99 and to buy a used one your looking at 3500.00 to 4000.00

i got my 2000 400 ex for $3650, but all it had was the renthal bars and the razr tires. that is american, so it won't help you, sorry.
