03' 300ex valves

300ex valve clearance.....I heard 2-4, 3-5 and 6-8.....I just called Honda they said 8 for both...stock motor with 400ex carb. What do you guys think.....???

Mike in my owners manual it says 10 but look in the the thread called lots of 300ex info. I am getting my Clymers repair manual soon to put motor back togther that i didnt take a part, when i get it i will let you know what it reccomends

Ive always done 4 intake 5 exhaust and its never ticked and ran great.
