how fast would a 1988 KTM MX250 go with stock gearing and could it beat a brand new yz250?

Your MX made 39.7 hp when it was new. Now that its gettin up there in the years, it'll make a little less. A new YZ makes 46. IF both have stock gearing, the YZ will get it al teh way up to top speed, which is about 65-70. The MX will do about the same, but it will get there slower, so teh YZ will have it everywhere pretty much.
