Just sold my quadracer

i just sold my 1992 quadracer for $2,100 cash. i was looking to get $2,700 but ive looked around and saw modded out ones that only sold for around $1,800-$2,000. i took the $2,100.
I still made profit witht all the mods i put in and what i paid for it.

I never got a pic of it with a shock on. o well
now i got $2,100 to spend on R parts :D

i fixed em at the last minute, where the rubber brake lines comes off the mater cyl. where it commects to the metal brake lines that slit off the each aarm. the bolt was loose letting fluid out. i thought it was coming from where the metal brake lines connects to the rubber brake line on the aarms. but the fluid just dripped down. 300exNJ or whatever , his friend bought the quad. today was the first time i rode the quad ever, then i sold it. it rode nice. very fast. ahhhhhhh 250r parts here i come!

or i can pay the loan and use my paychecks at work to buy parts cause ill have that $172 extra a month. hmmm

ya im gonna. guy how much did you sell your lt for? i still made profit off this but i wanted a little more. i still think i did good because ive seen lts more modded then mine sell for like $2,000

thanks ben. a lot beter then it was when i got it. 2k2-300exnj (brian) friend nick, bought the quad. bunch of nice kids and the father was nice. Brian was like "if nick dont buy it i will! the thing moves!"

Good financial decision! NEVER pass up a chance to pay off something that you don't own anymore or ride or whatever. I am a big believer in making money by not paying interest....:D

thats a first hearing of my responsibility. ive grown up a lot since the...... matrix days. ask beerock. i was his enemey, now he sponcors me.

it was a fun learning process of rebuilding the quad. i got a few black and blues on my knuckles for getting mad at times and punshing the garage wall cause the quad made me mad. i lerned a lot from it. i even made some profit!

thanks man thats nice to hear. not bad for a 15 year old kid workin out of a little husky took set. the kids father that bought my quad. he was stunned what i did. he said i did a very good job rebuilding it. im going to rebuild my R a little faster this time. I hope to have it completly mx ready by March 29th (day befor my first race) since my loan is paid off, my pay checks can pay for parts. Broqure (BWR) is giving me very good prices on aftermarket parts. Hes hookin me up a lot. He also guessested my frame and saved me a few hundred bucks. I will deff keep ypu guys updated. right now its in boxes. and im tryin to strip the paint off the frame with aircraft stipner. i may just get it sand blasted and save me the hassle.

the piston in it is pretty new. i dont no if im gonna rip into the motor yet. its bored to a 261 and has a wiseco piston. im gonna get exhuast and proply a radvalve for now. motor work and a carb is in for next season. im in a frantic rush to get the R done.

my friend was the one who bought the bike... straight up he is gonna kill himself, zack did an awsome job rebuildin that bike, sick power too although i couldnt mess around too much no rear brakes lol, ill get u that adress in a day or so zack, ill tell u what if my friend didnt get it today, after seeing that bike even though my heart is set on a 250r...

ya just tell him to makesure everything is tight befor it opens it up. you could barley make the beast start! i had to kick it like a man and it fired up 2nd kick for me. i think any bolt will work on the rear calipar. nice meeting you too brian. lol you saw my mom in a bath robe. haha u were all nervouse. brian how you like my little workshop with the R frame? its my 2nd room in the house. i gotta clean it out, and put some posters in there. were puttin in 2 swinging doors from the shop into the garage so i can park the quad in there. good luck witht he quad man

It was a '91. I don't think I can remember all the mods, but I know it had FMF goldseries pipe, power core silencer, PD coolhead with 22cc dome, 39 air striker carb, boyesen reedvalve, carbon fiber reeds, prm bashguar belly skid and grabbar, pro design kill switck, turf tamers in the back and fast trekkers in the front, bored .06 with wiseco prolite piston, super cooler, barnett dirt digger clutch, rad racing tapered bearing carrier, k&n filter with filter skin, shockwears, etc etc.

i want to look for a old beat up lt 150 or somehting lke tha 2 stroke to fix up and tear the negine down. I wnat ot pul apart a 2 stroke engine beofer i do a 4 stroke just so i have at least a lil experiance even thoguh they are completly diferent but i think it would be fun to do what u did. You did a good job restoring it looked goo but what is it with you and rear shocks in all your pics its aleways missig the rear shock

i take it u meant 250. They're really good bikes I don't know why everyone knocks them. There were alot of people who thought they could mess with my '91 just because it was a lt and got their *****es handed to them. Especially warriors dont know why they thought they would have a chance.

instaid of you guys buying four wheelers, just find a old weed wacker and tear the engine apart. i did it for a science project last year. it doesn't cost as much. but thats only if you want something cheaper

Found some pics of my old 1992 Lt,it had a cracked case and the guy still paid $1800 for it. It was the fastest quad I owned until the case cracked.

after i pictured it i think it only looks good on lt's they have that unique look... lol

LMAO! The Lt's are the only quads that look decent with the fender like that. When I first got it I just wanted to chop them off but after a while,you begin to like them because they look somewhat sporty and still block some mud.
