silencer question

Have a drr silencer, look's like a carbon fiber lookalike, stick's out past grab bar. Question is, can it be cut down a few inches? If so what's the best plan of attack

You can cut the "stinger" off of the end. A hacksaw or a 4 inch cut-off wheen on a grinder works great.

so the actual silencer has to stay the same length, doas anyone sell a smaller one that will fit the drr pipe

I'm sure you could cut the actual silencer and then drill out the rivets that hold on the end cap and re-install it on the shortned silencer. Have never tried it. It may have some impact on performance. Might hurt, might help.
