probably not the right place to put this, but I would like to sell my 2003 crf race engine. this engine was/is in a quad I recently purchased, and it is way more motor than I need/want. I am working on retrieving the paper work for it, and I am also working on getting the quad over the shop to verify the hp.
Here is what I know. Built by Woody Kyle, brand new, never raced. the bike was assembled in anticipation of an upcoming season, and was never ridden. I have ridden the quad in the parking lot, and in front of my house in the road briefly, and it feels very very tourquey. Its a 4mm stroke, longer cylinder, big valve head, high compression, full port, polish, the whole nine yards. Supposedly is about 565cc, and makes 65ish hp. Kicks pretty hard, but not rediculous. I have some c12 gas in it, and it seems to run really well. The clutch side cover has been machined for remote start, which effects nothing, it can still be kicked fine. Thats about all I know, I am working on more info.
this motor is ready to go, ready to race, needs nothing. i have a 470 motor that i run and like, (on pump gas), so this monster is way more that I need.
$2500 bottom dollar.
