depends on your location but the economy is hurting, its not going to sell soon, if it was 100% mint ull make money but ull have to sit on it, if its not 100% mint 800 is what they sell for ,800 is alot to put out to only make 2-300 bucks... ud be better off finding a clunker for 3-400 that ran clean it up and sell it for 800, people dont care about mint and original to ride only a collector and trust me collectors are very very picky

i ended up buying it.
800 and he told me the total story of it
bought from his brother in law in Missouri
rode it 2 times then it's sat in his garage for the last 14 years the last thing he said he did is put tires on it which they were still like new the cover's aren't skuffed pipe's stock and in good shape i feel like i made a good investment out of it

Let's see some pics. What color is it? 85's were yellow and black, '85 1/2's were black and red, the were both identical except for color. 86's were white and red. The 85 and 85 1/2 are pretty common, unless it's unbelieveably mint, don't look to make a lot of money on it. If it's an 86, that's a totally different story. These are much less common, and the upgrades Yamaha made to the 86 make it much more desireable.
