I've got an 84 Honda TRX 200 with spark issues. I've replaced the CDI module, the main coil & the exciter coil. The pulse coil test's OK. I've cleaned the ignition switch & kill switch, plus they test OK. Even when they are disconnected, it doesn't get spark. I've gone so far as to test each wire for resistance & they all are below 1 ohm. I even stripped the wire harness down to visually check each wire individually. The exciter coil puts out ~ 24 V AC, so I'm assuming it's OK & the pulse coil does give a signal, though it's hard to get a true reading. I have tried several new plugs but I don't see any spark with them. I have tried putting a bolt into the plug wire and holding it near the head. It does have a very weak spark, but that doesn't seem to be enough to jump the gap on a plug. BTW, there is no resistor in the plug cap & the coil test's OK for resistance. Does anybody have any ideas, besides a stick of dynamite?
