for anyone running a 416 hi comp kit using a xr400 head gasket are you also using the xr400 base gasket and the xr oring that is near the base gasket under the clyd that is, and are there any other seals that need replacing between the clyd -jug-head like orings for a oil passage or something tx in advance.:confused:

According to my local Honda dealer, the only difference between EX gaskets and XR gaskets is the head gasket. The base gaskets are the same. When I did my 416, the only gaskets I replaced were the head and base gaskets. I used factory Honda EX gaskets in mine and reused the rest. So far mine has been perfect since assembly. No smoke or unusual noises. Just lots of extra ponies. :D
