hey guys i found a dealership with a bunch of leftover 08's. just wanted to know if they are worth buying. seems like there was a grocery list of problems/recalls. just looking for an honest answer, they are putting these puppies out the door for around $4000. gotta be a story behind such a low price...

Sounds like a load of crap to me for $4000 why would they sell a quad for $2000 less than what its worth???

It may be legit, my dealer bought the inventory of someo ther dealers tat went out of business and as an insentive, Can Am built in some rebates to the dealer for doing so.

in Oct 08 my dealer sold 08's for $4999 and $5499 for the X model.

No hidden fees or anything, so the 2010 models are now out and if there are 08's left I am sure they are doing what they can to move them out.

its no joke guys. they are getting these leftovers out the door cheap. i;ve seen buyers with price tags anywhere from 3500-4200. its a totally legit deal for leftover 08's. my question is, what are the problems that these things have had? and overall are they worth buying with whatever problems there are?

Yeah, they are worth buying. Only a few minor problems. you can have the clutch noise fixed for for wayyy less than what a new 09 likely costs. $4000 is ungodly cheap.
