So, I've been doing a little searching... Is the general consensus still that this header isn't really worth the money?

i wouldnt get one unless you got some motor work done to it

would the sparks key be considered "motor work"?

So, I'm probably looking at a minimum of a cam and a higher compression piston before I'll notice the increased flow of an aftermarket header then, right?

you might notice a little difference but id put your money somewhere else first

im sorry dude but an aftermarket header will do wonders on a slightly modded engine because the stock one is VERY restrictive.

Not trying to steal the thread or anything, but it may help you as well.... Would it be worth the $$ for me to get one? 12:1 JE 416, stage 2 hotcam, HMF slip-on.

pickin_aggie08 u would feel a more power gain than if it was still stock because your machine want to let more air out especially in high gears

I've been wondering this for a while too Beav, I have a white bros MX4 slip and was thinking about trying to find a used powerbomb, dont know if it would fit in conjunction with the slip on tho, still undecided, I cant find the other half (header) for my slip on for some reason

i have a powerbomb and noticed a difference ( 12.5:1 416 stage 2).

You could also grind the welds off the stock pipe for free and get a little more flow.
