450 Comparison

i have a 400ex right now, and im looking at getting a 450r as well how would you guys compare the 450r to a raptor or the kaw 450, and in comparison to the 400ex

A 450R is like a super quick 400ex, that handles better, has a lot more snap, a lot more power, and weighs less.

A Kaw 450 has a tight ratio tranny. It rides about like a 400. Reverse is cool, but they just don't have the broad power that Honda and Yamaha provide. I'm just not a big fan of the Kaw 450. They seemed cool when they came out, but weak frames, lacking power, they were a bust IMO.

Raptor 660's are not a good bike in my opinion. Raptor 700s are a lot better, but still are lacking compared to a 450R or YFZ. They are a lot of fun to ride, just a little disappointing in the handling department.
