Would u trade your 300 for a 250R?

i have a chance to trade my 2003' 300ex for a 87 250r all my 300 has is bolt ons... the 250r has new top end and some bolt ons. i ride trails mostly but the 300 is too slow and the susp is too weak so im eather gonna trade or buy 330 kit and suspension. let me know what you think.. thanks

Honestly i would do it for something you want to ride everyday, Id rather have a fourstroke for everyday rideing. I understand its a 250r, dont get me wrong i love them but i wouldnt trade a four stoke for a 2 stroke. Just my opinion.

couldnt do it man... plastic was all cracked and faded. wouldnt idle, had no place to ride where i could go through all the gears, and the motor was all oily and nasty lookin, kick start was loose and took some tinkering to get it to start and foot pegs and nerf bars were loose and rigged up. to me it wasnt worth what mine is. it needed someone with alot of money to sink into it and thats not me. looks like ill be getting a 330 kit and some suspension... but i feel good about passing on it and anyone with my 300 i think would do the same thing. thanks the opinions guys if it would a been a nice one i would of done it in a minute...

its on cincinatti Craigslist just type 250R and look for the one thats $2000 good luck gettin it for 900

some times its just cheaper to build a hybrid.. check out that section of the forum.. rollers that already have full suspension put on go fairly cheap all the time... ?
